Technical Theatre
"Tech Club" runs every Tuesday evening during term time between 3.30pm - 5.30pm in the Drama Studio. It is led by a professional theatre technician and gives students the opportunity to delve into the world of technical theatre.
Over the course of the year students get to grips with the basics of Sound and Lighting for Stage Performance and Crewing, as well as having the opportunity to carry out realistic roles in real productions.
Students in years 9, 10 and 11 are also able to work towards a BTEC First Certificate over the course of the year and study units;
D18 - Lighting Operations for Stage Performance
D23 - Sound Operations for Stage Performance
D16 - Crewing for Stage Performance
